Catalyst Publishers, a major medical and science publishing house, is looking for an Allied Health Program Editor to advance our mission of improving education for physician assistants.  With an international distribution and monthly circulation to thousands of practicing allied health professionals, physicians and surgeons, Catalyst Publishers is one of the largest medical publishers in the United States.  We also operate a comprehensive website, produce ancillary publications, and create innovative educational products.

The Allied Health Program Editor position is a part-time consulting position and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.  The Allied Health Program Editor will review medical textbooks, organize topics to help formulate a review textbook for PA students and PA residents, assist with the development of an online review course for PA students, write and edit articles and publications to the industry, and assist with management of the allied health operations of Catalyst.

The established and successful candidate will be someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented.  This person must be able to handle multiple deadlines and effectively manage several different types of assignments independently.  He or she enjoys working with professors and physicians at institutions around the world and is willing to travel as needed for special projects and events.
